Loyalty cards October 2023

In the dynamic world of construction, dedication of workers is invaluable. Hence, workers are rewarded with a premium for their loyalty to the construction sector. It should provide an incentive to continue working in the sector.

What are loyalty cards?

Loyalty cards are a reward system set up through sectoral collective labour agreements (CLAs). They serve as recognition for the workers. Whether your construction company operates in Belgium under Joint Committee 124, or is a foreign company temporarily posting staff to Belgium for construction work, this system applies to everyone in the sector.

How does it work?

The premiums are not paid directly by the employer to its workers. The premiums are granted by the Welfare Fund and the employer pays a contribution to finance this benefit.

For foreign companies, the link to loyalty cards is made through Limosa.

The PDOK (Patronage Department for Organisation and Control of the Welfare schemes) collects contributions from employers to finance this benefit. The premium is equal to 9% of the gross salary earned for work performances during the service year. A service year runs from July 1 up until June 30 of the following year.

Distribution in October

The loyalty cards are delivered to employees in October every year. Have you not yet received the documents by the beginning of November? Please contact us!
