2020 had something wonderful in store for us
Just when we were getting ready to leave a very strange year behind us, we received two more wonderful announcements. We were nominated for Trends Gazellen 2021 and our ‘maetwerk’-concept won the first prize at the annual Voka HR Award. A great recognition for our more than 220 employees who go through fire every day for our customers and for each other.
Limburg Voka gold for our HR policy
Not to pat our own backs at Van Havermaet, but winning the HR Award from Voka, the largest entrepreneurs’ network in Flanders, certainly makes us proud.
Our employees are at the heart of our daily service provision to our customers. By giving them a face and a clear voice, we want to stimulate an even stronger internal and external cooperation, but also make future colleagues enthusiastic about starting their ever-growing adventure with us.
That this message also clearly came across to the jury of the Voka HR Award was evident from their comments at the ceremony: “HR at Van Havermaet is not just supportive, but a lever for growth. It supports an operation in multidisciplinary teams and thinks along with the customer about what it needs. It takes on an advisory and guiding role. They communicate this vision very well, both internally and externally. The multidisciplinary character can also be seen in their talent management. Based on their talent, employees can take on extra roles as coaches or innovators in addition to their ‘normal’ daily tasks.”
New nomination for Trends Gazellen
In addition to this wonderful recognition, we also received good news from the entrepreneurial press. Because Van Havermaet has been nominated for Trends Gazellen 2021 in the category Large Companies for the province of Limburg.
A recognition of our rapid growth based on three predetermined parameters: cash flow, workforce and added value. The official award ceremony will take place on 10 March 2021. We are curious to see how high our name will be on the list.
New gold or not: from these two beautiful recognitions we all gain enough strength and motivation to offer the same high quality of service in the years to come. As far as we are concerned, 2021 will be the year of confirmation!
