Morison KSi successfully launches Future Leaders Programme
On 30 November – 1 December 2017 Morison KSi delegates met in Amsterdam at the very first Future Leaders event.
The programme was devised to assist Morison KSi member firms to develop their talent pool – senior managers and newly appointed partners – and to provide these leaders with their own international community.
The two-day agenda included a networking dinner and a workshop the day after. Joanna Keeling, an expert in delivering leadership programmes to global organisations, facilitated the highlyengaging and motivational session focusing on impact, influence, strategy and vision as various aspects of leadership.
Joanna illustrated her point with the following example:
“If you leave your staff for a few months and they can’t handle it without you, you are a manager. If you leave your staff for a few months and they can cope – you are a leader.”
The training also emphasised the importance of networking as the starting point of any successful business relationship. To that end the workshop was centred on communication and initiating and maintaining positive professional relationship within the firm as well as between the firm and its clients.
The programme has met with very positive feedback. Morison KSi will make Future Leaders an annual event and is already planning further meetings in Chicago and Bangkok.
